The PowerScan 9600 Series industrial handheld scanners from Datalogic combine easy usability with a tough and durable construction. This design eliminates many of the problems other handheld scanners experience, and supports a longer lifetime with less maintenance and far fewer connectivity issues. These industrial scanners provide the standard benefits provided by all of Datalogic’s scanning products, as well as a variety of additional benefits. Easy integration with different networks, faster read rates, easy charging, and a variety of camera options allows users and managers to find models that are both future-forward and cost-effective.
The PowerScan 9600 Series is built with users in mind. The tough IP65- and IP67-rated scanner is able to withstand tough working conditions, including 2.5m drops onto solid concrete. The trigger is tested to withstand up to 10 million hits, which means a longer working life with fewer interruptions. This scanner is impervious to dirt and water, and uses a wireless charging system based on inductive-charging technology to completely remove fragile charging contacts. Users no longer have to worry about failures from dirty or corroded charging contacts, removing a key point of failure often seen in other industrial and retail scanners.
As an industry-leader in handheld scanners and industrial scanning products, Datalogic is known for their user-friendly and future-forward solutions. The PowerScan 9600 Series products provide all features that users have come to expect from Datalogic designs, as well as many more. These handheld industrial scanners interface easily with PCs, industrial PCs, tablets, and PLCs, so you can get your devices up and running faster. The plug-and-play architecture protects network integrity, and configures easily between RS-232, USB, USB-C, Ethernet, Ethernet I/P or Profinet. In addition to these configurable features, these scanners also provide 20% faster read-rates and use a gentle white light with a green spot to provide a successful read even on dirty or damaged codes.
The PowerScan 9600 Series includes a variety of different models and options, so you can find the perfect mix of performance and affordability. The Standard Range model uses a single camera for capturing low density 1D and 2D codes, while the Long Distance model uses dual cameras and high-performance readers. Datalogic also provides a unique Document Capture model, which is capable of capturing color images for quality control or signature confirmation. You can also choose between wired or cordless models, and Bluetooth® or STAR connectivity. STAR is Datalogic’s own narrow-band radio system, which eliminates interference from other networks and devices, and allows up to 16 devices to connect to a single cradle, compared to Bluetooth’s 7-device limit.
